Cholera

Cholera is infectious diseases caused by enter toxin producing strains of the bacterium Vi brio cholera. This disease affects the human being through eating contaminated food, drinking impure water. Vi-brio cholera produces cholera toxin which affects the mucosa epithelium lining of small intestine. This is a highly fatal disease which makes blood pressure to drop continuously. Other names of cholera are Asiatic or epidemic cholera. Cholera affected person feels poor surveillance systems. This disease spreads across various countries like Africa, Asia. If the affected person is not given proper treatment, they will die within two to three days.ORT is oral rehydration therapy which is widely used to treat cholera affected persons.
